STAGEHAND 101 MULTI-DAY COURSE

COURSE OBJECTIVE

With over 30 years of industry-related experience, CLEMCO thoroughly understands the challenges of the Live Event Production Industry. Particularly the ones related to the growing demand for skilled professionals and the cyclical, yet inconsistent, nature of available work. Our goal is to equip our students with the knowledge and foresight needed for a prosperous career in this industry.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

We understand that developing the foundation of someone’s technical and professional abilities begins prior to their first day on the job. This course will help set those building blocks and create structural guidelines for future growth and a lifetime of opportunity.

In addition to tools from the SH101 Tool Kit, all Stagehand 101 Leadership Academy participants will walk away from the experience with the following:

A basic understanding of how a live event transitions from ideation to implementation
The ability to identify various cables and equipment needed to support a lead audio-visual technician as they execute the build of an event
The ability to display organization and leadership skills that will help them stand out and excel on a jobsite
The understanding of T.M.R. (Time, Money, Relationship) Management principles that are essential to being a successful solopreneur

At the end of this course, students will possess the skills needed to successfully work an event and be financially compensated for the support they are able to provide.
