With over 30 years of industry-related experience, CLEMCO thoroughly understands the challenges of the Live Event Production Industry. Particularly the ones related to the growing demand for skilled professionals and the cyclical, yet inconsistent, nature of available work. Our goal is to equip our students with the knowledge and foresight needed for a prosperous career in this industry.
We understand that developing the foundation of someone’s technical and professional abilities begins prior to their first day on the job. This course will help set those building blocks and create structural guidelines for future growth and a lifetime of opportunity.
In addition to tools from the SH101 Tool Kit, all Stagehand 101 Leadership Academy participants will walk away from the experience with the following:
At the end of this course, students will possess the skills needed to successfully work an event and be financially compensated for the support they are able to provide.

Clem’s gift as an educator can not be overstated.
As I pursued video projection as a career, his mentorship was paramount in my progress. Clem’s learn by doing model was a tremendously powerful tool for me.
I was able to bring on several high-end clients and did so with the confidence that I had a greater foundational understanding of the industry’s landscape.
Moreover, one of the secret sauces to my success is the intangible insight that Clem continues to share with me.

Over many years and countless freelance jobs together, I have never seen Clem pass up an opportunity to help train and guide those in need. From fully explaining the duties of a job down to a motivational conversation, I know many people that have Clem to thank for their success, at least in part, including myself.

Clem,
I wanted to thank you for putting on the workshop this past weekend. My son, Ryan, came home buzzing about the experience including the connections he made and all that he learned. The two of us sat over breakfast this morning discussing production schedules and room diagrams. (Prior to today, no one in my house knew what I was talking about!) He also told me you may be doing another workshop soon; you should be hearing from him directly asking for more details.
I know there is a need for this type of education in the industry and I appreciate you stepping up to provide it.
Thanks again!
